Electricity and water don't mix, so I desperately started calling plumbers. I called about 25 plumbers...most didn't answer their phones...and of the ones who did, nobody could come out for days. The one I found who would come out same day was charging an extra $200 surcharge because it was a holiday. Economy Plumbing not only didn't charge extra because it was a holiday, they were going to have someone at my house within an hour. Holy cow! I felt like I could breathe again! Before they ended up coming out, I found out that the leak was due to an air conditioner and not a plumbing issue, but I was so impressed with the fact that they were willing to come to my rescue almost immediately, on a holiday, with no surcharge, that I had to stop and give a 5 star review. Most recently, he helped with a bigger project and I insisted the GC use Sean because of his consistent quality and knowledge of my house. Sean squeezed me in to get this done. My GC reported back to me that he typically has a very had time communicating with plumbers but that Sean was very prompt and responsive to him. "{"text":"Sean of Economy Plumbing is a true professional. He and his crew were prompt, efficient, did great work and cleaned up as if they were never here! We have finally found a plumber so great that we put his name and number in our phone contacts for future use. He and his crew replaced our water heater and replaced one toilet. Both of those items were taken out of the house without a drop being spilled on our carpet. He then repaired one other toilet so that it no longer runs night and day. They also fixed a leaky bathroom sink and I now have hot water again on my side of the bathroom. Sean, the owner, is also just plain nice! We also felt comfortable with his crew (Billy and Brad). As in... you knew all the material I asked about.\n\nNow, I'll give you 5 stars if there is nothing I think you could improve about your service.\n\nEconomy Plumbing gets 5 stars.\n\nHere's why:\n\nThey have a appointment setting service that answers the phone and coordinates appointments. \n\nThey are electronic: emailed appointment confirmation, email estimates, email receipts and invoices. \n\nThe staff on the phone is polite and efficient. \n\nThe staff (Roger) that did my estimate and work was great. \n\nESTIMATE REVIEW: On time, great at explaining my options. Provided estimates for the different options I could choose. (Use their toilet, use a toilet I picked out, have the toilet re-built) . No pressure trying to get me to pick on or the other. I also asked about some possible leak in the tub area. Roger gave me some great common sense advice and said I likely don't even have a problem to worry about. A less honest guy would've tried to convince me to tear my walls open. I'm happy with the work he did do as well as the work he said wasn't needed. \n\nWORK COMPLETION: \nRoger just left, I have 2 toilets installed. He had given me some suggestions on the types I should look for and where I could do it myself if I wanted. Toilets are installed and all is well. Not only did they take the old ones, but they took all the box debris as well. Oh... and they left the work area clean. Bonus. And their goal of no more running toilet? Complete. The cranky old toilet that couldn't be bothered to flush is no longer of this earth. Bye bye! Perhaps more importantly ... now I get to see a lower water bill.
