The problem

This Austin homeowner had already bought a Brondell bidet seat for the front bathroom. The before photo shows it out of the box with its quick-start sheet — and that's where a lot of DIY installs stall, because mounting the seat is the easy half. The other half is the water connection at the wall, and a mistake there leaks into the floor.

What we found

Nothing was wrong with the toilet or the seat — the job just needed the plumbing done right: a solid mount, the supply tied in at the wall, and every connection checked under pressure before calling it done.

What we did

We installed the customer-supplied bidet seat and made the wall connections for it. The after photo shows the seat mounted on the toilet with the connections in place — neat, tight, and tested.

The result

The upgrade the homeowner wanted, working the same visit, with the water side handled by a plumber instead of a hope and a wrench. Buying the fixture yourself is fine — the install is where a pro earns it.
